The SPI is an evaluation scorecard for suppliers of palm-based derivatives, aimed at assessing the level of commitments, processes and achievements in terms of sustainable sourcing practices (No Deforestation, No Peat, No Exploitation (NDPE) principle). It is a self-disclosure questionnaire with independent verification based on desk information. The result reflects the positive efforts we are making to achieve greater sustainability in the palm derivatives supply chain. 🏆 🏆 🏆 Best ingredient award at Personal Care and Homecare Ingredients (PCHi) China for our star ingredient Emulium Dermolea MB !! It is the fifth award for our emulsifier after winning awards at in-cosmetics Asia, in-cosmetics Korea, in-cosmetics Latin America and at Making Cosmetics Milan. This plant-based O/W emulsifier, reduces skin stress and brings long-term soothing due to its unique lipidic composition rich in sterols and triterpenes. This ingredient was obtained using Gattefossé’s expertise in wax butter technology and is composed of candelilla, rice bran, and jojoba waxes. At Gattefossé, we encourage all our employees to get involved with local associations. In 2023, more than 15 solidarity actions were carried out by 125 Gattefossé Group employees, in most of the territories where we operate, representing a total of 600 volunteer hours. And 2024 is starting strongly with a great initiative proposed by our partner L'ENTREPRISE DES POSSIBLES for the benefit of the Lyon association the LE FOYER NOTRE-DAME DES SANS-ABRI. In just one day, 20 employees from our Saint-Priest site were able to sort, match, restock and box over 2,700 shoes, which will all be distributed to the association's beneficiaries. 👞 👟 Well done to all, for this wonderful result and congratulations to all the L'ENTREPRISE DES POSSIBLES associations who work hard on a daily basis to help the most vulnerable. For the second year, the employees of our headquarters have decided to support the "Christmas solidarity giftbox" initiative led by the Lyon-based collective L'ENTREPRISE DES POSSIBLES . This initiative is destinated to a local association LAHSo which facilitate the reintegration of excluded individuals and families. 🎁 We filled Santa's bag with 53 boxes, that will be distributed across the various centers of the association. These include the Residential and social reintegration center La Charade that welcomes women and their children who are experiencing social and/or family difficulties.
